Shri Sai Dashama Ghar
The plan diagram as well as the section volume is an elliptical form that is derived from the paired cupped open palms of Sai as he historically asked for alms from his followers. The roof canopy is the shroud of a cobra, as Sai is considered one of the avatars of Vishnu (the preserver in the trilogy) in current day understanding. The statue itself is suspended from this simple canopy in the serpentine form with a shroud. The space is open, minimal, and welcoming with views to the mountainous terrain beyond.
