Pondicherry residence
Patell Batliwala (which has merged with CSA Partners Ltd.) designed this institute. The house built on an inlet by the sea , references the styles and vernacular references inherent to Pondicherry. Each room has large terraces/verandahs with expansive cantilevered roof overhangs. Locally available basalt stone adds key elements both aesthetically and for load bearing reasons
